Oi Daddy

Oi Daddy where were you when I needed you the most?
You turn up one day with ciggies and beers for me.
You told me its alright, to smoke, drink and chase my dreams.
And soon after you disappeared without saying your goodbye.
You left me with no choice, left me with no choice, I will not cry.
You left me with no choice, I will not say goodbye.

Oi Daddy what happened to the Romance between you and my Mother?
I know its none of my concern, but I really just want to hear.
You left me with this guitar, I played for 15 long years.
Now I sing my lullaby, You are still not here.
You left me with no choice, left me with no choice, I will not cry.
You left me with no choice, I will not say my goodbye.

I just miss you, don’t be mistaken.
I still miss you, don’t be mistaken.

Brother-In-Arms (For Is)

It’s so Clear, We have our own Fears.
While You got your ass kicked,
I got my conscience pricked.
While I live in complacency,
You showed me life’s decency.
To you who is about to Fetter,
I Salute You.

What You had Sought For,
I would never doubt.
I just didn’t have the balls,
While you take the fall.
I did not realise, that
together we can survive (this wretched city).
To you who is about to Fetter,
I Salute You.

And with my own evasion,
I Cause You Suppression.
What is it about Freedom
that cause this Oppression?

A Ballad for JBJ

Posted in sound and texts on November 7, 2008 by Kai Lam

JBJ, the Hearsays, are all Sound and Fury.
You be who you wanna be, They will not let you free.
What happened on that day, When they put brothers in the Ring to Fight?
It is not about Might, But do We really Know Why We Fight ?

Some say the Avant Garde is already DEad,
Some say they are Always LAte!
When we seal our Fate, to live in Quasi-Anarcho State,
I wonder who will be next ?  (Who’s next ?)

Somebody here today, Will not be here tomorrow,
and this somebody’s footsteps, I will not follow.
So JBJ, Can you tell me who is next ?
Oh JBJ, I wonder who will be next.

Prop Agenda Blab
It’s so Fat
It needs to sweat
Just to get some rest (repeat)

Oh Fatty Oh Fatty Boom Boom!
Oh Fatty Oh Fatty Boom Boom! (chorus)

A Thunderous Fall
That broke the Neighbours’ Door
It sounded like the Anger of the the Gods (repeat)

All the broken walls
And all the shattered floors
Oh ! Its the Mentor
Dancing his troubles away

All the broken walls
And all the shattered floors
The Fallen Mentor
No, He can’t bullshit no more

Yeah, No More…
